​The Sil'hooettes have been honored to perform at various venues both within and outside of the University of Virginia community, including UVA President Teresa Sullivan's Welcome Address, the Virginia Senate Republican Caucus at Boar's Head, and the White House.
​
The Sil'hooettes have also performed at several public events, such as singing the national anthem for UVA sports teams, the Boston Red Sox, and the Baltimore Orioles.

It is a separate and independent organization which is responsible for and manages its own activities and affairs.
